Staggered sowings throughout the season are often recommended to ensure continuous crops. They are very fast growing plants so they will soon catch up. Why not try the aptly named variety ‘Speedy’? We would recommend sowing the seeds in pots indoors and then hardening off the young plants for about a week before planting out. Young dwarf bean plants do resent being planted into cold and wet soil!
