They should be stored in a cool dark, well ventilated place until they are planted. A dark spot under the bench in the shed is usually fine. They can be stored quite safely in these conditions until November. If the bulbs have been allowed to shows signs of mould they have been kept a little too warm and not well ventilated envirnoment. When planting these tulips should be planted at a depth of 4″, however it is better to plant too deep rather than too shallow.
