Leave the seed head on the plant until the seed capsules change colour to yellow. They are best sown as soon as they’re ripe. Once the seed capsules become soft you can remove the seeds and sow them about 1cm deep in pots or trays of compost. Keep the compost moist and put them somewhere warm with a temperature between 21-27?C. Germination time can vary so don’t be surprised if it takes a few months for them to come through.
