Does anyone know how to make a really good Sweet Chilli sauce?

Hi Ryanbeee

I made this really simple sauce a few weeks ago:

Ingredients:

300g sugar

300ml cider vinegar

4 T&M Cheyenne chillies

4 T&M Numex Twilight chillies

Method

Put all the ingredients into a saucepan. Bring to the boil gently and simmer until the right consistency is achieved. stirring occaisonally. About 20-30 minutes.

You can add more chillies if you like 🙂

For an option you can also add finely chopped ginger and/or garlic when cooking for a variation.

Thank you very much, I shall give it a try.

I will probably end up putting more chillies in anyway 😀

Hello everyone,

I always add a table spoon of Fish Sauce to my Sweet Chilli Sauce. It makes a big difference.

Tried this recipe last night, as I picked another large batch of chillies:

240g T&M Cheyenne chillies sliced

100g T&M Apache chillies sliced

300g caster sugar300ml cider vinegar

3 tbspn fish sauce

This was more to make a chilli preserve for cooking with as it's pretty hot 🙂 you might prefer this one Ryanbeee
