Replacing a sick honeysuckle (1 reply)

I am about to replace a honeysuckle that has suffered from powdery mildew for two or three years. Is it OK to put the new plant in where the old one was and, if I do, do I need to take any precautions with the soil, trellis and wall where the old one grew? Thanks.

Hi Mr Thomas

As far as I know powdery mildew is caused by the weather not anything nasty, so you should be fine to get on and plant a new one,
