Getting muscari to flower when you want (1 reply)

Hi,

I am getting married in mid May and have asked if my mum can grow some bowls of muscari for the centre pieces.

Does anyone have any advice on when to plant/and in what conditions and what types would be most likely to flower in May. I have seen different varieties that say flowering april/may.

Many thanks

I think the best advice would be to contact a radio  gardening show and get the answer from the experts

I personally  would plant up pots and keep them in the greenhouse they would be more likely to flower earlier than in the garden.

These bulbs should be in flower for when you want them, https://www.flowerbulbsinc.co.uk/muscari/muscari-super-mix.html
