Ok I'm I think the newest newby, I have roses that are some 60 years old I also have climbing roses 4/5 years old but I'm thinking of cutting them back to the base not 6" from the base I mean to the top of the crown.

lm told that they will grow again but I don't know I am a bit afraid to do this like 60 years is a long time and I'm thinking will I be doing them harm maybe kill them.

Can anyone advise.
