I love Hydrangeas they are one of my favourite flowers! I'd love to have them home grown for my wedding bouquet but am a very novice gardener and only just moved into my new home; think a lot of TLC is needed first!

What did other gardeners have in their wedding bouquets and what's your favourite flowers for love and romance? Would love to hear all you're stories!

Sorry boys think this forum may be one for the girls ha ha 😛

How exciting that you are getting married eek! I had fragrant Freesias in adorable shades of purple because I got married in October and tulips my favs were not in season boo! 🙁 The flowers of romance have to be roses! I am pretty shocking at growing flowers, I am a herb queen though, my chives grow magnificently woohoo New home wonderful love buying housey bits

Thanks MircoMouse!

Aw that's a shame, tulips are beautiful too! I feel lucky with Hydrangeas as they seem so resilient!

A herb queen, one of the other members advised growing mint for any favours for the wedding! Do you grow this in your garden or in pots? I'm so unadventurous when it comes to cooking!

Hello BloomingBride

I grow my Herbs in pots as this stops them growing all over the place!

Mint and Coriander are lovely with Lamb and I love mint with potatoes, cooking is confidence and pactise this will come with time especially being in your new home I wish you the best of luck 🙂

Hi MicroMouse

That sounds lovely! I'm doing a roast pork on Sunday so thinking of incorporating some Rosemary! I do think growing herbs is a great way of easy gardening and getting kids interested too!

I'll let you know how my pork turns out and will buy some herb seeds at the weekend!

Thanks for you all advise!
