French lavendar plant in pot (4 replies)
Lavender doesn't need much feeding, maybe some potash for flowering, nitrogen will result in soft floppy growth.
Thank you for the reply Hemeroholic I was not sure what to do for the best on this one 🙂

Hello Carol,
A bit of pinching can do wonders! You then get more flowers.
You can also prune the plant after flowering to keep it looking bushy in its pot. Just make sure you never cut back into bare wood, French lavender would be unlikely to survive this...
Thank you Florexpert that is very helpful advice, the plant is just coming in to flower now.

Hello all
I have a french lavendar plant that I am growing in a ceramic pot, does the lavendar need a lot of feeding or is it one of those plants that prefers poorer soil.
Many thanks
Carol
