Ever so Lovely...... (3 replies)

I heard on the radio this morning that the collective noun for a group of ladybirds is a "loveliness" (because they were all once regarded as being female).

This lead me to wonder what the nouns are for some of the other creatures we find in the garden; is it an 'annoyance' of snails or a 'sticky mess' of greenfly???

Fun or fact, feel free to add to the list 🙂
