Once your pennisetum 'tail feathers' seedlings reach around 3-4 inches tall, you can transplant them into individual 1 litre pots. It's best to plant each seedling separately to give them space to grow. Water them regularly and gradually introduce them to outdoor conditions before planting them in their final position.

When to transplant my ornemental grass?

I've grown my pennisetum 'tail feathers' from seed, after successful germination they all have 1 single shoot (2 inches tall) and I'm wondering when I should plant them on from my seed trays into 1 litre pots? Do I plant them on in a clump of a few seedlings? Any advice would be much appreciated. 🙂
