New reply from old git

A really broad question, but congratulations on getting married, a fine institution.

The thing is are you wanting vegetables, flowers or do you just want a low maintenance shrub garden.

You have not said how big your plot is either is it heavy land sandy or some where  between .has it been cultivated or is it a blank canvas ?

So many questions I know but it would be pointless giving any advice without some idea of the  garden.

I’m sure you will do well but a little info please.

This is the Year!

Ok people,

Having moved into my house in August and focusing on redecorating I think this year is the year I need to focus on my Garden (and it will give me something to do once I have the post wedding blues in June). Now I am not green fingered in the slightest and you would more likely see green nail polish on these bad boys then anything else! So what can I grow which would give maximum impact without needing top notch gardening skills?

Any Ideas?
