<p>As i know choose native plants that are adapted to the local climate and soil conditions. These plants provide familiar food sources and habitats for local wildlife. They also tend to require less water and maintenance compared to non-native species.</p>

<p>I have found that a simple cotoneaster (sp) bush is great for attracting blackbirds into the garden, they love the berries.</p>
