<p>Locate the faded flower heads and trace the stem down to the nearest set of <a href="">basket random</a> leaves or healthy buds. Using pruning shears or sharp pruning shears, make a clean cut just above the set of leaves or buds. Make sure you don't cut too close to the leaves as this can damage the stem.</p>

Clematis help

<p>I am not much of a gardener but I have a Scartho Gem clematis it has already had one flourish of flowers but it does then have a second flourish do I have to dehead the whole old bud and how do I do it to allow second growth how far down to I cut down to? Thanks</p>
